AFC Condenser

5 to 100 Ton Capacity

RC’s Energy Efficient Vertical Air Handler (VAH-EC) Evaporators are powerful, low-noise units in small insulated cabinets that supply refrigerated, humidity-controlled air without the inconvenience or noise of an in-room evaporator. VAH-EC units are designed for small to medium-sized rooms and feature a rear air return with a top outlet. They are available in capacities from 2,023 to 27,967 BTU and can be used with R-22, R134a, R404a, or other refrigerants, with chilled water models available by special order.

Multi Circuiting

LRC’s Air Cooled Condenser units are available with separate refrigeration circuits within a single condenser that can be sized to meet the needs of your specific applications. Multi-circuiting enables one condenser to service multiple refrigeration systems, saving money by eliminating the need for several small condensing units.

Condenser Splitting/Head Pressure Controls

A properly sized condenser will operate efficiently during warm and hot months with a standard refrigerant charge. However, most units are required to operate at ambient temperatures below their design dry-bulb temperature for much of the year.

Condenser Refrigerant Charge

A properly sized condenser will operate efficiently during warm and hot months with the refrigerant charge shown in the Std. Charge Lbs. column of the Flooded Refrigerant Charge table (Table E). This charge data can also be used in condensers with fan cycling controls, as additional refrigerant is not required for mild weather control.
